KTH completed Construction Documents for an approximately 12,000 Sq Ft Women’s Health Clinic. The interiors were designed with a neutral, natural theme and hospitality in mind. The waiting room offered an inviting fireplace, and seating arranged in clusters to help dispel the typical awkwardness of OB/GYN waiting rooms. Functional and durable materials were proposed throughout, and the exam rooms were designed with KTH’s 4-exam room prototype.

Project Description

KTH’s team delivered a two-story new medical office building that featured a “transitional-modern” architectural scale and character, satisfying the City of Orlando’s design requirements. KTH coordinated the Civil Engineering and Landscape Architecture with B&S Engineering. Key notable interior areas included the entry, reception and check-in, lab and vitals, nurses’ stations, and conference room.

KTH incorporated strategically placed windows around the nurses' station bringing natural light into a traditionally enclosed space.
The ground floor was designed to accommodate visitor parking, while staff parking was efficiently located below grade.
The second floor was completed with fully built-out medical spaces designed to support clinical care.
