KTH Architects designed the Allegany Sports Complex and Community Center for the Seneca Nation of Indians, a 95,000 square foot LEED® Silver Certified facility in Salamanca, New York. This state-of-the-art complex features a welcoming grand foyer and gathering space with a coffee bar, as well as a dance, yoga, and spinning studio. A fitness room equipped with aerobic and weightlifting equipment, a gymnasium with an elevated walking track, and multipurpose rooms serve the community’s health and wellness needs. The complex also has a lacrosse arena with seating for 750 people, including luxury box arena seats, and an indoor, competition-sized swimming pool. In addition to sports facilities, it also offers youth centers, native educational spaces, and a display area to honor Seneca athletes and community members, creating a vibrant center for both recreation and cultural celebration.
