NEW ALL-TURF BASEBALL FIELD AND BLEACHER SEATING

The existing Showers Field was completely renovated with an entirely new playing surface and under drainage system. The entire field is artficial turf. New additions to the field include bleachers, concessions, toilet rooms, changing rooms, dugouts, field house and outfield wall.

The project was phased over a number of years to work with various funding sources and coordinated around baseball seasons. Four local baseball teams call the field “home,” including Penn State DuBois.
